Our Afternoons of Mindfulness take place every Saturday from 2:30pm to 5pm. We welcome young people (from 16 to 35) from other traditions or of none.
PLEASE NOTE: – There is no Afternoon of Mindfulness in May 18th 2013. There will be a social evening instead. Please email us for more details.
Venue:
Friends Meeting House
52 St Martins Lane
London
WC2N 4EA
It is near Trafalgar Square, or between Leicester Square and Charing Cross Tube stations.
The entrance is at number 8 Hop Gardens, which is the lane that runs off St Martin’s Lane between Cote restaurant and the Gymbox. Press bell number 2. Mats, cushions and chairs are available.
Please arrive at 2.15pm, in time to settle before the start at 2.30pm.
If you are late, please do not use the bell as this disturbs meditation. Wait until someone opens the door at 3.00pm-3.15pm.
Our meetings are free of charge but we welcome a voluntary donation.
We also encourage members to go to the weekly Saturday morning sessions with Heart of London Sangha at the same place.
You can also join us on Meetup.com for invitations to meditation flash mobs in London.

Hallo and greetings from Australia!
I note the mention of 80 cities worldwide taking part in the Meditation Flash Mob. I would like to know more about the other cities taking part, especially what is happening in Melbourne, Australia. Is there a link to info about this? I can only locate the info for London. Thanks for organising this. It is a great idea. I will do my very best to promote it, including on my facebook page and on the Heart Bus page (www.facebook.com/HeartBus if you would like to check it out) as well as sending emails to my friends etc. I look forward to some fantastic energy on the day!

I love your ethos and what you are doing, however, I wonder why you have age
restrictions on your events

Hi Toni,
the only age restrictions are for our bi monthly mindfulness practice afternoons. Our intention is to provide a space for young people to practice together and share their hearts with one another. Together we generate a space where young people find it beneficial to practice with people their own age and in a similar stage of life. We are also connected to another practice group which is open for all ages – called the Heart of London Sangha. We always encourage our young members to attend this group as well as it is equally as useful to practice with older sangha members. Our monthly meditation flash mobs are open to everyone of all ages. I hope this answers your question. Please get in touch if you have any more questions.
Love
Elina
